Rental Information

All payments (deposit and facility fee) must be made in full at the time of reservation.
Arrangements must be made ahead of time to meet with Caretaker to open and close shelter.

Requirements

  • Park hours are 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. The Park grounds will be closed from November 1st to March 31st. Shelter house #1 can still be reserved for use during this time.
  • The person reserving shelter is responsible for guests and damages.
  • Facilities are to be left in condition provided; remove all decorations, discard food, cardboard, glass and trash must be taken to main dumpster at West end of parking lot.
  • A $150.00 cleaning deposit must be paid at the time the reservation is made by a separate check. This deposit will be returned if the facility is returned in the condition provided. If the facility is not returned in the same condition as provided, the deposit will be applied to any damages or cleaning.
  • No refunds permitted on cancellations under 30 days. No refunds will be given for inclement weather.
  • No helium balloons allowed at shelter house. No confetti, pinatas or silly string allowed in shelters or gazebos or rest rooms. No glitter or fireworks allowed in the park.
  • No tents, canopies, carnival rides or blow-ups permitted without permission.
  • No solicitation of any product permitted in shelters or on Park property.
  • No parking on the grass.
  • All persons and property must be removed by end of reservation period indicated below. Tecumseh Township is not responsible for property left in facility.
  • Disorderly conduct is prohibited. Sheriff will be called.

Shelter Hours and Fees

Minimum reservation time is 4 hours. Additional time can be reserved.
Reservation times can not extend past 9PM and can not be made further than 12 months in advance.
